Parfums de Marly blends the past and present to create its olfactory delights. Since 2009, founder Julian Spencer has combined traditional Savoir-faire with audacious compositions. The perfumer evokes eighteenth-century French splendour by taking inspiration from the extravagance of Château de Marly – Louis XIV's recreational home. The house was dubbed the 'perfumed court' because its fountains and visitors' accessories were often doused with Fragrant scents.

Valaya by Parfums de Marly is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. This is a new fragrance. Valaya was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Quentin Bisch. Top notes are Aldehydes, Bergamot, White Peach and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Orange Blossom, Petalia, Lily-of-the-Valley, Vetiver, Nympheal™ and Mahonia; base notes are Musk, Ambroxan, Akigalawood and Vanilla.
